Cappelli Consulting was hired by community members from the Northeast Park Hill neighborhood of Denver, Colorado to help them negotiate a Community Benefits Agreement as a part of the planned redevelopment of the Park Hill Golf Course.
We facilitated a process that helped to educate stakeholders in the community on what could be negotiated within a CBA, laid out how the CBA process interfaced with City processes, identified and distilled key priorities stakeholders had for their community, and facilitated negotiations between the community members and the developers.
This process resulted in an enforceable agreement that is recorded with the land. This agreement applies to any future development that takes place there.
